Community development practitioners work alongside people in communities to help build relationships with key people and organizations and to identify common concerns. They create opportunities for the community to learn new skills and, by enabling people to act together, community development practitioners help to foster social inclusion and equality. The organization will find proper funding and resources to locate projects for particular community needs. This process will start with each every resident collectively.
The community development arm of the organizational body covers a spectrum of strategically organized programs fostering its own projects. The mission of the community development department is to interconnect with all divisions of the organization producing growth from within, while transferring economic growth and development efforts to the areas being served a nonprofit tool currently known as outreach. That growth will be sustained in systematic improvements until an ultimate goal is achieved and measured by: (1) the immediate impact on the appearance and economic development of the specific areas surrounding the project. (2) The depth of the organizational structure strengthens the area partner’s ability to provide capability to the organization, (3) the long-term increases in life expectancy along with resulting intellectual and economic achievements from individuals in the area. (4) Furthermore the organization plans to implement and encourage the opportunities of more environmental friendly methods of community growth and development in the energy, housing, economic and environmental sectors.
